Accessibility Statement

Ardent is committed to making its website usable by as many people as reasonably possible.

ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Ardentisys

Last updated: 17-09-2026

1. Our commitment to accessibility

1.1 Ardentisys Ltd (“Ardentisys”, “Ardent”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to ensuring that our website at www.ardentisys.com (the “Site”) is accessible and inclusive to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability, technology, or circumstance.

1.2 We believe that good accessibility reflects good design and sound professional practice, and we treat it as an ongoing priority rather than a one-off project. We continually seek to review, test, and improve the accessibility and usability of the Site for all our visitors.

1.3 This statement explains what we do to make the Site accessible, any known limitations, and how you can contact us if you experience any difficulty using the Site.

2. Scope of this statement

2.1 This statement applies to content published on www.ardentisys.com and its subdomains that is controlled by Ardentisys. It does not apply to third-party websites that we link to, or to third-party platforms, tools, or content embedded within the Site but hosted or controlled by a third party (for example, embedded videos, maps, scheduling tools, or social media feeds), which are governed by the accessibility policies of their respective providers.

2.2 This statement does not extend to any client portal, extranet, document, or system provided to you under a separate service Engagement with Ardentisys, which may be subject to different arrangements agreed with you directly.

3. Accessibility standards we aim to meet

3.1 We aim for the Site to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), as recognised good practice in the United Kingdom. Ardentisys is a private company and is not a “public sector body” for the purposes of the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018; we adopt the WCAG 2.1 AA standard voluntarily, as a benchmark of best practice, rather than because we are legally required to do so under those Regulations.

3.2 In designing, building, and maintaining the Site, we have sought to provide, among other things:

•  text that can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality;

•  colour contrast ratios intended to meet WCAG AA thresholds;

•  keyboard-accessible navigation, without reliance on a mouse or other pointing device alone;

•  descriptive alternative text for meaningful images;

•  clear, consistent, and predictable page structure, headings, and navigation; and

•  compatibility considerations for commonly used screen readers and assistive technologies.

3.3 We regard WCAG 2.1 AA as a working benchmark rather than a guarantee of full or continuous conformance. Certain content and functionality may not yet fully meet this standard; known limitations are set out in Section 4.

4. Known limitations and content we are working to improve

4.1 Despite our efforts, some parts of the Site may not yet be fully accessible. Known or anticipated limitations include, by way of example:

(a) PDF documents, reports, or whitepapers published before this statement's effective date may not be fully accessible to screen reader users; we are working to remediate priority documents and to ensure newly published documents are created in an accessible format;

(b) some third-party embedded content (such as video players, maps, or booking widgets) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA, as this content is outside our direct control;

(c) some older archived content may not have been created to current accessibility standards; and

(d) certain interactive or data-rich visualisations may be difficult to navigate using assistive technology alone.

4.2 We prioritise fixes based on the impact on users and the practicality of the remedy, and we will update this statement as improvements are made. If you need information from the Site in an alternative, accessible format, please contact us using the details in Section 6 and we will consider your request.

5. How we assess accessibility

5.1 This statement was prepared following a self-assessment / review of the Site against WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria, having regard to the W3C's Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) guidance.

5.2 We aim to review the accessibility of the Site, and to update this statement, at least once a year, or sooner following any significant redesign or change to the Site's content or functionality.

6. Feedback and contact

6.1 We welcome feedback on the accessibility of the Site. If you find any content that you cannot access, encounter a barrier to using the Site, or have suggestions for improvement, please let us know using the details below. We aim to acknowledge feedback within 5 working days and to respond substantively within 10 working days.

6.2 Please provide as much detail as possible, including the page URL, the assistive technology or browser you were using, and a description of the difficulty encountered, so that we can investigate effectively.

7. Enforcement and your rights

7.1 As a private organisation, Ardentisys is not subject to the enforcement procedure under the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018 (which applies only to public sector bodies), and this statement is not made pursuant to, and does not constitute an admission of any obligation under, those Regulations.

7.2 The Equality Act 2010 requires service providers, including private businesses, not to discriminate against disabled people and, where reasonable, to make adjustments to the way in which a service is provided. We take these obligations seriously and will consider, on a case-by-case basis, reasonable adjustments to the way information on the Site is provided to you where you tell us you need them.

7.3 This statement is provided as a voluntary, good-faith description of our approach to accessibility. It is for general information only, does not constitute legal advice, and does not itself create any legal obligation, warranty, or representation beyond those that already apply to Ardentisys under applicable law, including the Equality Act 2010.

8. Third-party content and intellectual property

8.1 Where the Site links to, or embeds, third-party websites, tools, or content, Ardentisys is not responsible for the accessibility, availability, or content of those third-party resources, and this statement does not extend to them.

8.2 This statement does not affect, vary, or expand the intellectual property rights, licences, or restrictions set out in our Website Terms of Use, which continue to apply in full to all Content on the Site, including any Content made available in an alternative accessible format.

9. Relationship to our other policies

9.1 This statement should be read alongside our Website Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which together govern your use of the Site. In the event of any inconsistency between this statement and the Website Terms of Use as to liability, intellectual property, or governing law, the Website Terms of Use shall prevail.

9.2 Nothing in this statement limits or excludes Ardentisys's liability in a manner broader than, or inconsistent with, the limitations of liability set out in our Website Terms of Use, and all such limitations apply equally to matters arising out of or in connection with this statement.

10. Governing law

10.1 This statement, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it (including non-contractual disputes or claims), is governed by, and shall be construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
